I had Belstaff jackets back in the 70's.

Now I'm an awkward shape (OK I'm a bit/lot over weight)
Had Scott Leathers "Made to Measure" goretex (or similar) took 7 months to get it, Promised for November got it March. Can't recommend them!!!

Went to Claymore Jackets in Yorkshire https://www.claymorejackets.co.uk/index.htm
Had a waxed cotton jacket made to measure done in a few weeks superb fit, comfortable and only £300.

I paid a shed load of money for an all singing and dancing Goretex Rukka Jacket.
    The absolute borrox.
Left it hanging up in my garage over the winter and some little feckin mouse ate his way through it ...on the plus side it has a bit more ventilation but on the negative side the waterproofing guarantee has long gone !

Mine is cheap and cheerful but fits like a glove ...unlike the wife's which is really stiff and cost twice as much.

IMG_20191003_155727.jpg Kind of "old school". A friend gave it to me a long time ago. It is old. 5.5 lbs. of leather and zippers. I also have a red/white/black Joe Rocket textile, but I like this.one better. ...J.D.

I have a number of riding jackets, I must confess. I looooove motorcycle jackets. :kissing_heart: This particular one, however, is one of my favorites and best fits this thread title (the "I look feckin' cool" part). At least I think so. Plus it compliments my Speed Triple RS nicely. It's a women's Roland Sands "Maven" in Oxblood. One of the few jackets I've actually paid full price for---and worth it. I'll have it forever.
