Hi to all from Wiltshire- just joined up after having bought another 2001 Bonneville. I had a 2001 Bonneville about five years ago and its the only bike that I ever regretted selling so i decided it was time to get another! i I purchased my current Bonneville last week from a Bike shop which buys in trade - ins and sells them on at a reasonable price so no history with this one although I do have all the MOT's. Its been upgraded to T100 spec with the speedo and rev counter unit, rubber knee pads and Norman Hyde type silencers. I have decided to give it a good service before I ride it around and have already come across a few issues so looking forward to using this forum for handy hints and tips and to post any that i may come up with along the way....
Thanks so much for the big welcome! Looking forward to getting the bike sorted - just love it and very glad to be once more a Triumph rider
Thanks Dartplayer - it’s currently in my workshop in several pieces but will post a pic when it’s back together The plan eventually is to customise it to make it look retro/classic....
Rainman. Welcome to the family. But you know we need the picture as proof. Here in the asylum we say no picture no bike. And nursey encourages it as while we ogle she dishes out the med quietly. Ride Safe & Enjoy Joe
Welcome to a great forum, Rainman! If it's helpful hints and tips you're looking for, you've come to the right place. This is also just a great community of interesting and fun folks. Enjoy!
