Featured Thruxton I Couldn’t Resist...

    456755E0-6491-4F69-A74F-64046CAE23B6.jpeg 102DE1D0-B79F-4D05-87A6-B3C8F21CB70A.jpeg So, after I did change my Ducati Hyperstrada for a Speed Twin I was back at the dealer a few days after and changes my Multistrada 1260 for a Thruxton 1200 r in Competition Green.

    I just love both bikes but I do beleive that the wife has to settle for the Speed Twin.

    I will be reading everything I can find about these two models on the Forum since I/we are completely new in the Triumph world. Have had 10 Ducatis in a row...

    Lovely brace of Twins Fredrik. That green with the gold is a great colour.

    How did you get the red Thruxton on the thread title?

    Thanks, i really fell for the green. It also feels like a real Triumph race color. Tired of all red bikes that we have had for the last years.

    I just posted in the Thruxton thread, no idea why or how it turned red.

    Welcome to the wonderful world of Triumphs, Fredrik! Beautiful bikes. I love the green with gold. I had a Thruxton R in the silver ice color. When I purchased mine in 2016 the green wasn’t available in the R model. Have great fun with those new bikes!

    Not available on the r as a 2019 model though. You must really polish your bike a lot. I like it. Superclean.

    Hmmm, for travel costs I could just go buy a different bike when mine needs to be cleaned and polished! :p
