New to this forum, but not to the motorcycle scene. Yesterday, I picked up a nice 2000 tiger 885i. Just waiting on 10am so i can get the insurance sorted and start riding. Then the hard part of where to slip it in the garage. Already own a 93 trident sprint 900, 98 trophy 1200, 99 t595 daytona, 59 650 bonnieville and a 63 t100 s/s tiger. that is as well as 4 ducati's, 3 husqvarrna's, 4 yamaha's and a suzuki tl1000. and they think i maybe contagious at work. hahahaha
Good grief Fatty, if that lot fits in your garage it's got to be bigger than my house! That is one hell of a collection! Is it a bit like painting the Firth of Forth bridge? Once you've finished cleaning the last bike you have to start from the beginning again? Welcome in by the way
Thanks for the welcome. Forgot 2 more bikes. Got a 98 harley race bike and a 07 buell. My disease was triggered when I T'boned a car on my way to work (didn't see me on my bike, with it loud exhaust and blaring headlight) That was almost 14 years ago and only just got back to work in jan 2015. It's a good job the old man likes his bikes too. Keys are hanging up, take what you fancy a ride on. They also seem to think my sprint 900 is a little loud at work. Don't know what they are on about !!! it's got twin reverse cones on (but the baffles must have fell out hehehe) I do have a sound recording
A man after my own heart there Fatty - loud and proud !!! So you've been off work as a result of that accident for nearly 14 yrs, blimey !!That sounds really bad. Now I see why you have so many bikes - you need something to keep you occupied. Welcome in
accident wasn't that bad. I actually walked away from it with just a broken arm and later found out a broken scaphoid in my left wrist. Ambulance crew arrived and wanted to cut my brand new coat off. HELLLLL NO. I still have the coat and use it EVERY day for work. i think specilist said i must be 1 in 10,000 to have these problems with the injuries. Most of the surgeries were done while I was awake and watching. Here's a sound track of my sprint on a steady run.
Fookin' hell ! Are you sure that's not a full-fuel dragster !!!!! On the health side of things are you fully recovered now? Just the problem with the ears bleeding I imagine
Can't be that loud!!! I use it to go to work at 5:30 in blessesed AM. Who needs coffee ! the harley is the chest pounder ;-)
pic of my race harley (built by a mechanic at harleyworld chesterfield) Currently having surgery to swap out the stock harley swingarm (as it's flexing under power) Not sure on using a single sided or conventional swingarm at moment.
Please note FAT JR that this is a well behaved quiet forum and we all run silenced exhausts on standard bikes, stay under speed limits, drink organic tea and help old shitty ladies cross the roads. (No do we bollocks!!) heh heh. Welcome to our HOUSE OF FUN! Hope your helped into May more purchases by us ! Eric
Greetings, are you sure you don't live in a bike shop. Exhaust sounds awesome! Great site for help etc. hope you enjoy it M
