Hi, I'm restoring a 1971/72 Bonneville. The original colour is tiger gold and black. I'm not keen on that. I believe there was a "lighter" gold which was a special order paint for the USA. Does anyone know this colour, the name or paint code?

Hi Recycled Rocker, Thanks for the info. My bike is a 71, so originally Tiger Gold/Black, not the best looking combo, but then it was the "70s" The Gold/White is a better combination. But I've found some info on a special order "lighter" Gold/white, which was mainly for the USA. I've seen a pic of a bike in this colour and it looks good. But I've not been able to find any info about the lighter colour. I'll keep looking, Thanks for your help. Woodspinner
