    Hi
I used to ride a Triumph Tiger 955i before I changed to another brand. Recently I sold my "Old English Lady" a beautiful red Triumph TR4A which I owned for 20 years.
I'm a hobby-mecanic so I decided that I need a Triumph in my garage, so yesterday I picked up a 98 Thunderbird Sport. It wont start now, but the battery is crap so I have to change it. My plan is to give the bike a total renovation. Any tips is welcome :)

Welcome mate, get a new Motobatt battery before you try again ;)
Let’s see a pic of your new bike too.

Just a shot in the dark: Was it by any chance you who bought the bike in Sarpsborg the other day? If so, I guess from the ad description that it needs a new sprag clutch.
    Cheers and good luck,
    Erling.

Thats correct picked it up in Sarpsborg :) and yes it might be the sprag clutch, but when I have to split the engine anyway, I will change every part that is worn.. in the Winter :)
