No Tie Points

Hi all well after 30+yrs of regular riding reading and hearing of riders losing their strapped on loads I was always shocked and could not understand how they did not secure it properly. Well being the owner of a SS900 2019 I have experienced it for myself and I was extremely lucky. My bike has not had it first 500m service so following running in rules.
Well I secured my backpack to my bench style seat using a cargo net looked good and have riddled several times of the week. However yesterday all changed one of the straps got loose and got caught in the back sprocket, heard a clunk stopped and found backpack wrapped in sprocket. No harm to me or bike, but so so lucky.
Why are there no tie points on this bike?
How do you guys carry stuff?
But now I see how easy it is to loose a load.

 

Hi Smilinjack I have just been rummaging through my Kreiga stuff and may have sorted my problem. I pinched a young lad's idea off YouTube I will test it today

I like it's concept, but it would be overkill for my type of riding these these days, thanks great looking como.

 

Saddly the bag in this position didn't work for me in this position. Luckily I rode with my Kriega R30 back pack should I need to reconsider after 20min I had enough of the back and restricted room on peg and shifting gear.
Maybe I take too much stuff on my ride, but always had panniers and top box took it all whatever 'all is' lol.
Just set up Kriega hook ups under seat attached to bike frame and my 10ltr or 20ltr bag can be attached.
If anyone wants a picture I will post it, the good thing is it's really secure .
