The former owner of this bike put a Two Brothers exhaust on it. All in all it seems to run good but I've not owned a Speed Triple before so don't have anything to compare it against.

Have heard you guys talking about TuneEcu but none in reference to a 1997 bike. Can these bikes be tuned thru the ECU? If so what programmer should I get?

    Thanks

All that an ecu does is store look up tables. The more info it recieves it analyses the data and if those perameters match a given look up table thats given in a pulse width that goes to the injectors. All this is done in milliseconds.

Would have to disagree with you there - the MC2000 utilizes 16 x 16 matrix for the Fuel Table, while the MC1000 has 24 x 16 giving much better resolution having 50% more reference points - the MC2000 has to interpolate more between those adjacent cells.

I am only quoting what was told to us by Sagem when we were given instruction on the system by them and data logging at MIRA. I'm no digital expert but if i was told that by them i have no grounds to argue the case.
