I got mine from Tom Parker who, luckily, are just down the road from me. https://www.tom-parker.co.uk/produc...e-thread-valved-male-thread/20999/cmcd10-040/
From memory, I think that’s the right one for the tank connections. The males on the fuel rail hoses should already be metal as they were changed on a recall by Triumph; the tank ones weren’t for some unknown reason.

Just purchased a blue one, same as yours, 2006. I'll be interested to see how you get on with yours. This is my first time back riding since i got rid of my 73 Trident in the late 90's. Let me know if you're ever heading to the South Coast.

    Welcome.
    I run a 955i Tiger...my second one....and love them......just back from a 500 mile ride on mine.
Superb......missing the bells and whistles of more modern adventure style bikes but all the better for that in my humble.
Main problems tend to be radiator caps failing and dumping coolant and regulator/ rectifier failures... which can take out the stator if not noticed in time.
There's a rewire fix for that one ( look up sasquatch conversion) which reroutes the reg.rec. more efficiently.
Other than that pretty bullet proof.
I did have cam chain failure on my last one ....supposed to change the adjuster at 40k and I found out the hard way.
But a bike I've every intention of keeping long term.
I also run a tbird but seem to jump on the tiger at every opportunity.

Well done on passing your test(s).

So different for us oldies back in the day, with a short figure of 8 round the local "trading" estate including an emergency stop (tester with raised clipboard 30 yards away).....and that was it. Straight on to a Kwaka Z1 (76 hp) after a 125 BSA Bantam (4hp)! And just 17. No helmets required; mental really.....

Anyway, take it carefully, the Tigers are big old beasts and quick enough. Welcome to the Vintage Tigers list.

Well done. And great bike. Do get used to it first before the wheelies.
    Ride Safe & Enjoy

Yeah times have definitely changed in that respect and yeah she's a big old girl and quick enough for me. I'm not out to break any lap times, find it really enjoyable to just plod along.
