I’ve had a problem with my QS/ blipper, it’s now been in the dealers 3 times, and I’m awaiting it back to me ASAP, pain in the arse, if it still happens a next time I’ll be calling triumph.
I’ve had the difficult to get into gear 4/5/6 syndrome then it throws up a fault code and I can only then use the clutch to change gear

I would advise you take it back to dealer I can assure you that you have similar problems I had. The’s something not right with that shifter , friend of mine changed his to a HM shifter and hadn’t had a issue since, however he can only shift up with it. hM are working in one for the RS that u can blip down with too. Good luck

Mines still in Newcastle triumph with the same fault (minus the fault code), they're gunna try a new shifter on it under warranty, they say it may be something to do with the shift sensor.
When I get it back and if it still doesn't work I'm taking the shifter off and getting a full refund on the part.
The auto blipper is a nice feature but a one I can easily live without.

This is the last time it’s going to happen if it happens again they can have the bike back, seams to me like the QS blipper hasn’t been sorted before given to the public

I’ll be surprised if another shifter works , they tried a few on mine made no difference at all.
Big problem this with the RS and triumph are not willing to except this at the moment, I predict a recall in the near future.
Just glad I got a full refund for mine. I’ve since bought a new bmw s1000r QS up and down, and what a massive difference, the shift is super smooth .

Yeah I'm expecting that to be the case.
As I said if it doesn't work I'll be taking it off the bike, wouldn't get rid of my bike because of an optional extra, no other bike does it for me other than the rs.
I mean no disrespect here but to me ktm, bmw, yamaha aren't pretty at all, On each test ride I just walked away and never glanced back.
