    Hi
    I've a 1981 Triumph Tiger Trail 750cc
I've just notice a small (pin sized) hole in the rubber oil pipe that comes out from the sump plate - I think the engine is the same as the T120\T140. I'm not sure if this is just a standard piece of flexible oil pipe and will be ok for replacing it with the same as it looks shaped with a couple of bends in it.
Does anyone know if\where I can get a aftermarket one, or should I just go with a bit of standard hose?

    kind regards
    Jon

I would just get a piece of standard hose also, unless you just want to spend about 3 times as much!

    Thanks very much
Do you know if the pipe has a 3/8 inch (9.5mm) internal diameter? I've measured the outside to be about 16mm but wanted to get the replacement hose before I remove the damaged one. I think oil pipes of that size come with either an 8mm or 10mm ID.

    thanks very much in advance

From memory feed is usually 5/16 and return is 3/8.
