New Angel GT tyres fitted..

Have put a new set of tyres on (Angel GT) yesterday I'm so glad to get rid of the supercorsas,they may be the dogs on the track or if your'e lucky enough to get perfect conditions on the road, but throw in some rain and the odd bit of gravel and they are crap,I had the rear slide on me on 2 separate occasions when I hit damp patches and once on what looked like a few bits of gravel, luckily i was taking it easy and didn't have to go home to change underwear , so needless to say I had lost all confidence in them and there is nothing worse,so i thought no point in waiting for them to wear out.. get rid of them now. it was raining yesterday when I went to get the tyres fitted, it was only 15 or so miles and I was near vertical going round the corners ! The journey home on the Angels (even although it was raining) felt really good..Happy days!

so if anyone is looking for a cheap set of Pirelli supercorsas sp for track days or even for the road (but don't take them out in the rain!) give me a shout, the front has only done about 400 (careful miles! ) and the rear is probably 500 miles away from the wear bar, £65.00 for the pair & that will include p&P

 

i love the road up to Ullapool,i usually go up there at least once a year and it's only ever rained once!! normally it is lovely up there,something to do with the gulf stream,have you noticed the palm trees up there?

 

yeah not been up as far as that for a while but your right they are fantastic roads I'll have to make a point of going up that way this year,only bit up north I'm not keen on is along the top from Durness to john o groats, too many single track roads if i remember, I've only did it twice ages ago and each time i said it would be my last!
