My new front brake pads have ariived and I now want to have a go at swapping out the old ones. Does anybody have the torque settings for the caliper bolts. Any help greatly appreciated..

No I haven't started yet, so thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they should not be to stiff as the bike has just been serviced at the dealers and they stripped and cleaned the brakes, front and back. Once I get the torque settings I will have a go. Cheers

It is a very long time since I took a spanner to a bike or car, so here is hoping...

I've not started mate. There is still some life in the pads that are on and I need some copper grease, thread lock and brale cleaner before I start. I will probably wait until I get back from holiday now and then do them just before I go on my NI trip in June, Still waiting on torque settings if anybody has them.. If nobody on here knows I will ask at the dealers for them.

To be honest I've never really bothered about torque settings for things like caliper retaining bolts.
Different if you were splitting and rebuilding the calipers but for simply removing from the fork legs I'd just retighten them to roughly how they felt when you loosened them.
    It's not that crucial

Thanks. To be honest that is what I will do if I cannot get the settings. :):):)
