Hello. I recently just bought a 2016 triumph daytona 675r. Went for a ride 2 days ago and then put it away. I went to start it today and nothing happened, no lights on the dash turned on or anything. Would this just be a dead battery?
Have you accidentally left it with the side lights on? Does it have an alarm, they can pull a battery down, especially if it’s a few years old, your 2016 bike could still have its original battery and it could be ready for changing. Hello and welcome to the forum.
Seth Anderson. Yes probably or loose connection. make sure all the switch and kickstand switch's are operating as they should. Let us know how you get on. And drop us all a picture of the misbehaving steed. Regards Joe.
Both the 675 Daytona and Street Triple are super-reliable, I would almost guarantee it just needs a new battery.
I'm brand new to riding and this bike, made a rookie move and left the kill switch on, also had the key turned to the p sign on the ignition. Today I will be trying to give the battery a charge after work and see how it goes. Hopefully I won't need a new battery. But we shall see. Thanks
Kinda jealous about the Daytona - itching for one although i have a street already Still need a Daytona in my life , happy riding mate and welcome
