Hi guys finally got bike back to something decent looking, I am running my 05 daytona 955i with the max mid range map and have high level triumph race can. Although bike rides well it just seems a little low on grunt won't even lift front in first gear but accelerates well. I'm going to see what air filter is fitted as got a feeling it could be k and n or something similar and was wondering whether to go back to stock to see if this crisps things up a bit. Bikes done about 45000 miles but seems to have been looked after mechanically as have loads of receipts and paperwork for bike. Anything I should be looking at to crisp things on the old girl. Thanks peeps.

Could’ve been over geared but an over oiled filter could be muzzling it. Clutch slip (revs climb faster than road speed) or a compression leak down test (& does it smoke much?)
Beyond that, a rolling road and mapping check......or are you expecting too much? The bum dyno can mislead!

No smoke at all and it's quick to be honest maybe I'm expecting a bit much but thought triple may have had more torque. May have to change sprocket size. What are the standard size?

They are a frisky bike, I had a T595 years ago and it didn’t lack any grunt, as Callumity says it may be a shitty K&N filter or even something like mice nesting in the air box, but sounds like it’s a breathing issue.

Welcome to the Family. Yes check your map I see you have a sports can on there so may need to be tuned to that. And good to check the sprockets mainly front as it is the one most people change. Think it should be a 17 but some people put a larger sprocket on for touring. Also consider the filter and general service items like plugs and the like..
    Ride Safe & Enjoy
    Joe.
