Hi I just removed the tank off my speed triple and the below just fell out. I have no idea where it’s from or what it was attached to. It’s about a foot long tube and at one end has this connector that’s box shaped at the back. Any ideas Anyone?

Sorry Guys, sorry for the quality and i appreciate the help. as i said it's a piece of tubing, looks like a breather hose from the fuel tank, but the tank still has both hoses attached and this was just lying on top of the filter casing when i lifted the tank off. and the tank still has both tubes attached. just wondering if i've missed something.

Your photos aren’t very clear but it looks like it could be a drain for the airbox. I can’t directly relate because my bike is a 2015 and the airbox is different, but, have a good look to see if there is obviously something missing from the airbox, this could involve taking it off as the hose could be attached underneath. I don’t think your model has the SAI valves so doubt it is anything to do with that.

that looks like it at one end but the other is open and cut like a breather tube. will check it though and thanks for the time and effort that took to dig out
