Dart Fly Screen For New Speed Twin

I asked Dart if they were planning a fly screen for the new Speed Twin, they have confirmed that the current Thruxton screen will fit. Their web site will be updated in the next few days.....

Unfortunately no, the fittings are very different and the headlight size is larger on the speed twin I've taken the one I had on the speedmaster off, so it is going up for sale along with the brown quilted seats at some point.

Good to know Wessa. We haven't tried it yet but have been told Triumph's Thruxton screens will also fit the Speed Twin. Seems like Triumph have missed a trick somewhere, not listing an available screen for the new bike.

 

Yep agreed Rich. I was surprised that there was not one in the catalogue.

Doesn't look like they have updated their website yet for the Speed Twin, but may take a chance on purchasing the Thruxton R version as the Thruxton version doesn't look like the bracket will fit the Speed Twin correctly.

Probably going to go with the Piranha version in midnight black. Should look smart!

I'm with you on that. Was originally thinking piranha, but now leaning more towards the classic. Just can't make my mind up.

Suits the bike really well. How does it perform?

 

It's ok but I have just put the classic screen which everyone says looks better and it has slightly better protection
