Have some patience - the pair of you...as soon as I've been, I'll report back It's a shame there won't be a comparison against stock twin Arrows before and after...maybe someone else will go and do that.
OH RIGHT we thought you were booked in with your son Wednesday matey. As you may have gathered we are very excited to hear your findings!
All done, Wow what a difference, you can feel the weight has disappeared from the rear, it pops and bangs like a goodun, and really pops on the blipper downshifting. Baffle in it sounds lovely, we’ll happy!
Nice photo, gorgeous bike. As much as I like how the twin cans balance the look of the bike, I have to admit that SC Project exhaust looks sweet. I have SC Project exhaust on my Street Triple and love it. Enjoy the new character of that beautiful pipe.
I spoke to a triumph mechanic and he told me that I wouldn’t need it , he said do the fuel ecu reset, run for 12 mins after the fan comes on , don’t touch the throttle and the ecu will sort any fuelling issues if there is any. It feels just as strong, no flat spots and now sounds ace without being offensive. I’ll try and go for a ride with a camera to get a sound clip
This is getting very interesting. I went out yesterday and agree it feels as strong (with baffle in)...and definitely no flat spots at all - if anything it's stronger as you climb up the rev range. That said, I still think that low end torque isn't quite as it was. Triumph told me that a remap wasn't necessary too. Hilltop (who are obviously wanting my business) say that the ECU will adjust as Triumph say, but only within the very tight constraints required for Euro-whatever-number-we're-on-now. I'll never know unless I cough up the cash and try it...and by this time tomorrow, I'll know whether it was worth it
That almost happened when I saw my results I'm sorting it...honest. These things take a little preparation and I've been at work this evening...and now there's family stuff to deal with...and after being out since 6:00 and having spent £700 out of our joint account (for two bikes), I've got to pick my time carefully. In the meantime, here are my before and after photos - I think you'll agree there was a major improvement More later...I'm being shouted at
Keep saying "get over yourself" that's what I recommend ! (I should point out that I happen to be divorced) ...
“having spent £700 out of our joint account...” Braver than me Mr T, a joint account would be my undoing! Have you written it up yet? There are people here who need to know
