First morning for a long time when it felt mild, dry and even smelt a little bit like summer, I love this time of year.

Looking at the brushes between the wheels and the spray bar at the front I’d say it’s a street sweeper. Quite what the relevance is,dunno.

I see - I also assumed that but thought it was something special for a US spring.

I think what isn’t it is the question, it’s not a snowplow

My bad fellas. In my neck of the woods we get quite a bit of snow in the Winter and as a result end up with about a 1/2 inch of gravel on the roads. No sane rider would even consider getting on their bike until they see the squadron of street sweepers out to collect it all up.

I see - thanks for that. Interesting. Especially as we rareley get any snow here. We do get tractors spreading acres of mud all over the roads though. Or diesel.

I haven’t seen a Cavalier on the road for years, I had an SRI briefly as a company car 25 years ago whilst my Golf VR6 was on order, happy old days.

Yes. Not much traffic, many lakes and rivers and mountains and clean air and water. I get to ride around 7 or 8 months. I enjoy riding in the 40's and do ride in the 30's. I love the 50's,60's and 70's. Not too keen on 80's and 90's.
