Thruxton Airbox Delete

    Hello I decided to remove the airbox after installing hi flo filters,I haven’t tested the bike yet.

    I saw Truxtons with out the airbox in the web so I hope it works.

    Last picture show a Truxton with out airbox.

    Bloody hell SSR, that makes an enormous difference !!!!

    Edit Just realised that the bike in the third picture might not be yours ?

    Looks good, but you might need bigger filters as in the third pic. to flow enough air.

    The bike in pic three looks great, however, according to the text it's a design concept which would go a long way to explaining why it has no battery or ECU.

    I already extended all the wires etc to move the ecu,relays etc

    Not easy jiji

    looks great, with all those empty spaces are you going to experience a lot of wind noise? Let us know how you get on with the test ride

    That bike isn't a design concept, it has been up and running in Texas for about a year now. Here are some pictures....

    Hello finally I finished the airbox delete,the bike runs ok.

    We had to use a small battery and move several electric parts and ecu etc

    Also I changed the complete tail section.
