hi all been meaning to join for a while now so here i am . i own a tiger sport 2017 from new and love it, had my bike in ride magazine latest edition set in portugal near amondovar, just had my 6000 mile service done and was told the head bearing has a little play in it, told triumph dealer that this cant be right after so little miles he told me about £280.00 cost so am waiting to hear if triumph will cover this on warranty, still waiting to hear back, has anyone else had this problem so early on. ?

A little play at 6,000 miles suggests a very minor variance in manufacturing tolerances......probably an eighth of a turn on the nut. I assume the exorbitant cost of adjustment is down to labour costs to simply access things under the fairing. How old exactly? Triumph have a 2 yr warranty period.

the bike is just 22 months old and I ride fast but not silly I also had to have my back brakes changed las service at 3,000 miles seemed a bit early as don't use back brakes that much

Are you sure your dealership doesn’t think they’ve seen you coming? Back brake under warranty?

Welcome to the Family. The back brake I see make sure the reservoir is not over filled and check when you ride the bike you don't hover the brake pedal as I does just make the pads rub. The head is a little poor and Triumph should be putting it right. But on that point does it have a dealer service history. Then Triumph know it should be right if not then they only have your word for it.
    Ride Safe & enjoy
    Joe.
