Hi, thought I would share a link to my YouTube channel. Most videos are service videos on my speed triple (2016)
Also other videos of friends bikes, 2014 speedy, Kawasaki ( I know I'm sorry) gtr 1400 and z800.
Hopefully they might help some members, please remember I'm not a bike mechanic, so cut me some slack o_O

i notice you put the road 5s on,i've had the Angel GTs on the last 3 sets and i'm looking for something that will give me a bit more mileage as i'll be doing more miles this year, not that the Angels are bad for mileage i'm getting 4.5-5k out of the rear.

Yeah had almost 6k out of the road 4's, but struggled to get 2k out of the oem tyres.
Had my first spin on the 5's this weekend, they feel awesome.

I’ve never tried a less sport oriented tire like the Road series. On the street Triple I’ve always used tires like The Pilot power 3, Rosso Corsa, Rosso 3. How would you compare the Road 5 to those with regards to dry weather handling?

I've been putting 'roads' on my bikes since 2009, first on my ZX10. I would have said in my heyday, I was a fast road rider (calmed down a bit now;))
The only time I've had sports tyres on , is when they come with a new bike.
Personally I can't tell the difference, I guess you probably could if you did a track day. Where you would be pushing it continuously.
My tyre of choice before The 'roads' would has been 'pilot power', I couldn't tell the difference.

How much more mileage do you get out of the Roads vs the Pilot Powers?

The Pilots if I remember, probably about 2500 miles maybe 3k, so getting at least double with the Road's.

I put the pilot road 5 on at end off last year and love them.
The speedy just seems to roll over in to corners now.
The sporty metez fitted only lasted 3000 miles and the bike would just drop into corners which I did not like if that makes sense .
Hoping to get 6000 miles out of the pilots as I am a grippy aberdonian
