Cheers, turns out to be just the alarm. I found another thread on how to disable. Very easy and the bike started up better than ever, so I guess it was on the cusp of failure for a while?
    Happy days are here again

Cheers I managed to find a thread detailing how to isolate the alarm. I cut off the connection block and just had to link wires 1&2 and 3&5. All others just tapped off. Once block fitted back in place it fired up no probs. No need to buy the alarm isolator block triumph sell.

Mine is dead too. Yesterday I went hard over a few bad bumps on the road that I did not see. The engine gave away and has the same issue. The click sound and no fuel bar etc. The lights do come on.
So I took it to a garage and the mechanic said the battery is conked out. So I put a new battery in yesterday and got it charged at the garage and then took it home.
Today I tried to start with the new battery and the same thing is happening. I paid a lot of money to get the bike from where I had stopped to get it to the garage and now have to pay the same thing to get it back to them.
Any idea why this is happening even with a new battery.
The mechanic said it does show low voltage so could it be something else then went when I went over the bumps?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you.
