I cannot work out if he is serious of if this is just a piss take. OK back in the 80's I picked out the words Metzeler and Me55atronic on the sidewalls of my GSX250 but I used a TyreArt pen and only did it once, as it washed off with rain after a few days and looked crap. That blue paint looks shit to start with, the solvents in the industrial looking paint will probably eat into the tyre and he didn't bother washing the whole bike which would have made it look way better than that mess he added...

Looking great, Ron. Is that the KTM rad.
That's looking REALLY nice! Good work that man!

Is that the replacement reflector on the rad cowl? Looks like a good fit and match. So, next step?

theres a fudge using a leather belt , you wrap it round the filter and then use the handle of a hammer as a lever to turn the belt and filter

I dont know how much room you have unfortunately

rubber gloves give you more grip too

Hit it with a big hammer BB, seriously, sounds obvious but have you tried WD40 and leave it for a while, I bought a filter tool in Lidl for a couple of quid and it's brilliant.

Ah, OK - let me know how that reflector compares when it finally arrives, please. Sprint usually keep mudguard extenders in stock :-

You might just get lucky and find a supplier over there?

Good luck with that title petition!

The essential tool kit (apart from duct tape, wire coat hanger and para cord) also includes a soft faced mallet
    https://www.screwfix.com/p/thor-sof...VzrDtCh2pAAGXEAQYASABEgJNRfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
and a big flatblade engineer’s screwdriver where the shaft emerges at the hilt. There are few awkward things from filters to larger nuts that you cannot start to move with a good tangential whack!

Just put a ding in the filter rim adjacent to the sump to get a grip.

You can also use a polyvee belt ( flat alternator / power steer / aircon belt ) and vise grips for this too gives better grip being rubber.

And dont forget to lubricate the new oil filter seal before you fit it, and dont overtighten it .
