Just heard Hm quickshifter are bringing out a unit with auto blipper for the 765rs just wondering how many or you would replace stock quickshifter for an aftermarket unit with blipper, think it's about £500. Must say I'm tempted.
I had an 765RS, loved the QS, I have ridden other bikes with auto blipper and they are cool, not sure if I would shell out another £500 for one though?
Welcome ! Is a blipper necessary? No. Is it fun? Yes. But there again, you could say that about a motorbike.....
Aye up Tim and welcome, autoblippers a nice idea but £500 in the tank goes a fair way and at the end of the day means some nice runs out. Will the autoblipper actually improve the whole experience to warrant the cost? Not in my eyes but others may say yes.
Spend the money on upgrading the auto blipper if you want, I wouldn’t if I had a qs fitted, but I’d put the money towards a week away on the bike, summat like the NC500 with accommodation from where you are, or a ferry to Europe for a motogp event?
Welcome buddy At the end of the day it all boils down to each individuals needs, passion and financial sustainability. If you must have it and if you can afford it......then obviously it's yours to enjoy . Me personally.....If I have any disposable income I will sell my standard QS and get the auto-blipper But if £500 is all I have for my fun then the obvious choice for me is fuel in the tank and miles and miles of quality ride
Funny you should mention the NC500 a friend of mine is planning on doing it this summer on his monster 1200s so I'm putting in the groundwork with the other half, which means she'll probably end up spending the £500 and I'll get a trip away... Blipper may have to wait.
