Ok everybody, just bought a 2002 TT600.Its absolutely beautiful.Looking forward to getting out and joining the Triumph community.
Mines blue.Only got it yesterday but I've wanted one for a while, got a Honda transalp as well so best of both worlds, a great all rounder and a sports bike.
Welcome Paul, I too have a TT (red/silver) it's a lovely bike, and I can't get over how good the brakes and suspension are. Mines going in to hospital tomorrow for new tyres, and a re-map. It suffers from the "switch" like power "roll-on roll-off in 1st/2nd gear which the local main dealer says they can iron out - we'll see. Let's hope so, becuase it's very diffiecult to ride smoothly as it is, but once you're past that point it's a fabulous bike. Mine wasn't use much before I bought it, and has a number of ignored factory recalls against it, so it likely that the mapping is as it left the factory. Perhaps we'll meet up on day, but I hope you enjoy your TT as much as I do mine. Best wishes/takecare. Des.
Hi, welcome, good choice, I have two tt's though only one is currently roadworthy. If u like I have an early model, and a later one that I bought with a blown engine, knacked forks and brakes and missing screws, bolts, grommets all over the place, i rebuilt and it is back on the road were it belongs. I have the factory workshop Manuel covering. These and the speed four, so if u need any info, is settings etc, I'll be glad to help, enjoy your. New purchase. Martingw.
Had first proper ride out today, can,t believe how good it is. Makes my Transalp feel like a wheelbarrow.
Hi and welcome to the forum. The TT's are a great bike and the last Hinckley bike that were all made in the UK. Cheers Steve
