Greetings from Houston, Texas, Happy Holidays to all.

Traded my old Kawasaki Nomad for a 2013 Tiger Explorer Saturday, came fitted with aftermarket panniers as well as the oem ones. I seem to be missing something at the bottom of the case, looks like a support should secure it there. It just locks into the top at present, leaving the bottom of the case flopping. Am I missing a piece of hardware?

    Welcome in,
go to the tiger/explorer section and post a photo of the pannier hanging system and let us know which panniers you mean, if it’s the oem wether they are the aluminium ones or expedition as they had different hanging setups

Thank you all for your replies and welcoming me to the forum. I have always said that I would never join an organization with standards so low as to have me as a member, but in this case I will make an exception.

The aftermarket cases have an aftermarket bracket that secures them nicely. The OEM hooks and locks into the top rail but that's it, they just dangle there. I'll try to send a pic once daylight breaks.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. There is a notch on the bottom of the panniers that appear to me should ride over a bar for attachment. Do you know if they should be mounted on a support frame, like the aftermarket ones do?
Best Regards, Merry Christmas to all.

Hey Crispey, your comment just alerted my brain (such as it is) . I have no hanging system for the OEM cases, just the slots running alongside the seat. Is there more? Have patience, only had this bike for four days...... and it's a keeper.

Hi and Welcome, you may want to look up Triumph Adventure Panniers or Triumph Expedition Panniers and see of there are any brackets missings. My Adventure panniers have a toggle arm that sits in the slot, so that they don't wobble about.
