Depends if you are talking of the blue shift lights or the actual rev limiter on the engine. You can adjust the shift lights to what up to the max 12500 rpm or down to around 5000 rpm to help you not over rev during run in. I personally got sick of the flashing lights when running in so set them to the max on my speed triple. I believe the engine rev limiter will cut in around the 12500 red line but I would not recommend finding out until the bike is run in.

Hate to see it when folks showing off on youtube vids hold their bikes flat out on the rev limiter whilst stationary
