Hi Thanks for letting me join.I currently ride a Harley Davidson Deluxe but looking to sell in order to purchase either a late s/hand or new Bonneville T120 as I need a lighter bike owing to some dramatic weight loss and muscle tone following a bout of cancer this summer. I have recently sat on a T120 and it seemed nice and manageable and reminded me of my old Honda 400/4 for seating position etc. Hopefully will be able to gain some knowledge and insight about the T120 as well as what to look for when purchasing.
Hi, Kev and welcome! Should be plenty of useful info from the inmates hereabouts. I could quite fancy a T120 meself if the opportunity arose, but that would be me being unfaithful to me Trident, which would never do!
Hi Guy's I'm new to your site. I ride a Speed Triple 1050. We have a real passion for Triumphs here in the US. I figured this would be a great way to keep up on the do's and don'ts with owning one of these. I like to do as much work on the bike as possible.
I'm an artist by trade. I came up with this design for the back of my vintage cafe leather. I don't wear it on the road. I figure its not safe enough with what's out there now a days. I've got a two piece Alpinestars suit for that. But, I still like wearing it around town.
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos of you're new bike when you get it. Tucker
@Kev Parkinson Welcome aboard mate. Best wishes with your search for a T120. It's a cracking bike mate. If you're interested in unique we are soon to have a second hand T120 for sale at Woburn. One we built for a customer whose partner rode a Street Twin. Following an accident (not on the bike) she can no longer ride, so he's chopping both in for a new Streetmaster for her to ride pillion in comfort. Check out the Pure Triumph web site later in the week when a picture should be up by then). It looks something like this (we built five, all slightly different).
@Son of Paul welcome aboard mate. You might want to consider starting a separate thread for your introduction. Love the jacket.
Hi Kev and son of Paul, one at a time though please , you'll only get the inmates confused, hope you both enjoy your stay on the ward.
Kev. Welcome to the Family. Great peeps on here if you need advice its about the best place to be. Wealth of knowledge here and some great people. Ride Safe Joe
Son Of Paul. Welcome to the Family aswel. Cracking looking bike. And nearly a good start. The inmates do love pictures. Just need to start your own intro as we are easily confused if we haven't seen nursey with our meds. Ride Safe Joe
