    Hi all.
I'm a very long standing Meriden twin & triple owner, I've also had a 955 Sprint RS in the past.
I've just sold an 1100 EVO Monster as I'm up for a change.
I'm drawn to the new Thruxton, not the R model, the "base' type.
    My question is:
Does the tank from the new T120 fit the Thruxton?
I'm assuming that the two frames are the same and that the tanks are interchangeable , but does anyone know for sure that they actually are??

The Thruxton tank seems to be 1 or 2 inches longer.
You can check by yourself watching pictures in the gallery.

    Hi Bruno.

Yes I know that, I can see its longer! My query is would a tank from a T120 fit the Thruxton?
I like the "Flat Track" look and I'm simply thinking ahead as to how this could achieved.
The descrepency between the length of tanks could be made up with a longer nosed seat.
The seat unit I have in mind would most likely have to be a bespoke item, until maybe someone starts making something of that ilk.
Anyway, where there's a will there's a way, as they say!!
