Hi there from a newbie rider who finally passed her test last October. I splurged on a new street twin which I really love, have found a few comfort issues on long trips but am working on resolving those. Every time I get on and start my bike and listen to it I love it all over again! I am keen to get to know how it works and understand it mechanically so I can do some basic maintenance on it in due course so have been looking for a local beginners motorbike mechanics course to no avail. Have been grazing YouTube for top tips in the meantime which is super helpful as is this forum so decided to join your gang
Thanks for the welcome! Just working out how to upload photos I hope... here is a picture of my very lovely bike, In all it’s gold bling glory!
Hi and welcome. I'm also a Street Twin owner (for a few more days, anyway) and know just what you mean about the engine tone. Lovely bikes. As a matter of interest is the gold tank some kind of limited edition?
Thanks all for your kind welcome! Re the gold tank, it was a special by Lings of Watton, I went looking for a second hand bike but was hopelessly tempted the minute I saw it ! I love it and the fact it’s the only one makes it even better
Welcome from sunny California. I also have a new Street Twin. Have had it for a year now and 4,500 miles, and it has been flawless. Mine below. I have the touring screen which works very well and is highly recommended. Also Triumph waxed cotton bags so I can carry all my stuff. Also see a good service manual you can pick up on line specific to the Street Twin. Enjoy your new ride and be safe !!
Hi from another Norfolk Street Twin owner, and long time biker, any info you need, I am sure I can point you in the right direction, or know someone who can.
Hi JPo and welcome! The Haynes manual is a must have edition if you are going to do basic maintenance. Enjoy the new bike!

Hi CJA from another Hampshire man, nice collection you have there, post some pictures when you get a chance, it keeps the inmates from getting bored! Just click the upload file next to the Post Reply tab and choose your photo, then upload full image, it's easy!
Welcome aboard JPo and CJA, a bit of page hijacking going on here I think but no matter , hope you both enjoy the forum and have fun but be safe out there.
