Hi all, just picked up a 2004 Thruxton. This forum looks great, and I look forward to learning from all of you and sharing my experiences as a first-time Triumph owner. I've been riding for about 12 years now, my previous bikes were a Honda NT650 (I think called the Bros in the UK) and the Suzuki GS500E (another parallel twin). The forums for those models were amazing, and I was able to learn so much from other members and also saved myself a LOT on repair expenses by doing things myself.
Welcome to the forum Rcasi, don't forget pictures, some members can't be bothered to read, photos keep them interested!
Thanks for the warm welcome! Of course, duh! Sorry for the lack of pics. Here she is! 2004 with 14K miles on her. It's got the air injection delete and aftermarket pipes on her (The PO didn't know what brand, if anyone has some insight into what they are would be interested to know)
Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy the forum, you won't find a better bunch, nice looking Thruxton, have fun and stay safe.
All explained here: LP version. And here's the video version, speeded up I'm afraid to avoid youtube censors the poster reckons. Whereas a motorcycle lift is when you give a tidy young lady a pillion ride on your bike after clicking at the cafe of a Saturday night.
