Hi folks, first thread for me on here.

As the title just bought a 110 Anniversary model with 28 miles from new on it, have to say it looks amazing next to the Tiger, 2 totally different animals but can't wait to get out on the Bonny.

Is there anything to check, look out for, I know on the Tiger sump bolts were always lose!

Its never had it's first service, but will wait until weather improves now for that, I'd like to add a centre stand and a small screen just the fly screen, don't want to spoil the look of the bike, I have promised to take my lad out on it the wife says it needs a sissy bar to keep him safe! so there's another add on.

Looking forward to learning a bit more on the bike.

    Cheers

    Mark :upyeah:

28 miles? Blimey! Was it a pre reg or did someone fall out with it? No major problem by the way. Get it rode!! Eric

well done Mark and enjoy. I'm waiting for a 'Newchurch' Bonnie and have a Tiger800 too.

what's the story with the 28m? I've heard of dealers claiming anything up to 100m for 'delivery'. Think 1st. service will be ~600m so a long way off.

+1 for the sissy bar, that (or a topbox) gives greater security for the pillion, makes a difference to rider too ... one thing less to worry about!

    Hi

The story is a sad one, it was rode from the dealer to the guys home, it was parked up in his man cave and never used his wife died no age at all, he advertised it, I'd never seen one but thought go and have a look just in case! I was just taken back by its looks, my budget did go out the window but don't tell the wife!

Oh it will get rode but this one will be dry days only.

Hi, if it's been sitting around for a while unused then check out a few things, I bought mine from the estate of someone who passed away three years ago, the brakes were seized, I replaced all fluids and I regreased bearings, replaced batery etc. yours with 28 miles should be ok, how long was it standing for?

Hi all seems in good order to be honest, the guy ran it up and moved it etc in gear, not far though! Im going to have it serviced and a good check over before I use it.

I am an engineer so yep already done this done that you know what some of the dealers are like!
