Beautiful. I'm sure that won't be up for sale long.

    ok latest update.

The bike is now ready to go and will be going up for sale. I just need to confirm a value.

I have seen them for sale for anything between £5000 and £10,000 (and even one for £12500.

This one is a very nice one (as you an see from the pictures) It had a full resotration in 1993 including engine rebuild and was sold to my father in law in 1995. I dont have any paperwork or pictures of the rebuild and no history other than a few MOT's and old V5's.

When the guy did the rebuild he reset the mileage so it is showing just over 300 miles, which is all it has done since then.

I have the invoice and breakdown of the work I have had done including having the carbs ultrasonically cleaned, new, battery, Distributor oil seal, adn voluntary MOT.

So any idea where I should pitch it price wise? I obviously want to do the best I can for him but want to be realistic and get it sold.

Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. But a lovely bike.
    Stay safe

It's very hard to put a value on British bikes at the moment because prices have stagnated for many reasons, original correctly restored bikes with documented proof and matching numbers are the bikes fetching the higher prices and non original non documented bikes starting from as low as £3000.00 :)

    Thanks chaps

I appreciate the higher end of the scale would be for bikes with the provinence and history.

I would probably be happy to take £5000-£6000 for it on the basis that it doesn’t have the history but is still a fully restored and very nice example,

I will probably put it up for sale on here in the next week or so and if no one wants it then I will advertise it.

Thanks again to everyone for their help and advice.

    Afternoon gents

I have finally got around to putting the bike for sale on here if anyone is interested. asking £5k for it and if no-one buys it I will advertise it more widely in the new year.

I would like it to go to a real enthusiast if possible and if someone on here wants it that will save me and my father in law a lot of hassle. I think it might go for more if I advertised it in the new year but would be happy to let it go for this to keep the hassle to a minimum for him (and me)
