Just ordered a pair of throttle body caps for me Scrambler (at the bargain price of £10.80 from World of Triumph). I want to change the screws to socket head button screws - & I've found some black one's in packs of 8 at Westfield Fasteners. I read somewhere the correct size is M4 x 8mm, thread pitch 0.7mm, & these match. Could anyone confirm this before I order please? Also, is there any reason why I can't fit them with the logo's pointing inwards where they can't be seen? "Triumph" on the tank is enough for me....

How did you get on with this foxy?
I very much like the sound of what your proposing and having bought the caps am wanting to do exactly the same.
I'd be obliged if you'd let me know.

Hey up curly. I fittedthe throttle tops with the logo "inside" where it doesn't show as much - no prob. The black screws were no good, they went a bit rusty so I got the s/s one's in photo. I had to buy more than I needed so you're welcome to 8 if you want them for free cos I'll never use them. I'm away at the moment, back in 2 weeks. If you send a stamped addressed envelope I'll post them then if you're ok with that. But I don't know how to give you my address without the world knowing....?

Foxy, that would be great, very generous of you mate!
I don't know how to swap addresses in confidence either, to be honest, but I see that you're in neighbouring Derbyshire, potentially not too far away from me.
I did send you a message via what I think is the personal message function on this forum by clicking on the envelope icon top right of screen, some few days ago, but when you didn't answer I just reopened your original post.
I have exchanged mobile numbers on that feature with another forum member in the past, seemingly without any problem?
I'm not really computer savvy unfortunately.

Just click on the little envelope top right and start a conversation, that keeps it private but make sure the forum name is exactly the same ;)
