was riding my scrambler at the weekend and noticed an oil leak. Was coming from the alternator casing. Found out it was the grommet that the
Ignition pick up sensor comes out from. Has anyone had this problem before? upload_2018-8-29_8-4-28.jpeg

Looks like the grommet isn’t seated right. Should be an easy fix with the casing removed and a new gasket on refitting. Are you still covered by warranty, the bike looks new, if so, I’d take it back.

You were absolutely right. Thankyou. Took the alternator cover off and glued the grommet together and seated it right . I then sealed it in with sealant. New gasket and no oil leak. . Thankyou Yorkshireman.
