Thanks!!! btw., I just ordered the Denali SoundBomb compact horn (I have read great reviews on it)., just ordered it at TwistedThrottle website. Got my Dianese boots yesterday and a Dianese mesh jacket with back supporter (additional). All set. I will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow to just check. shall update.
Have the Denali horn on mine. It’s a bit of a fiddle to get on with the space you have to work with, if needed I can post a pic or two
Awesome. Since I have the black crash-bar on my motorcycle. I can mount it there and all I need is a clamp suitable for that. Yes, please post a picture of your bike with the horn installed.
Just got a moment to post this, been a busy weekend. Hope this gives a good indication of what the Denali horn will look like. A bit bigger than the oem, but no one will say they didn’t hear it!
Cool. Nice. So, I see you have the original factory horn and in addition to it the Denali horn. I also recommend you install a Crash bar and it is good to have. in that case, you can attach the Denali to the Crash bar, and probably 2 amber lights from Denali (or like the Denali DR1 2,0 for very high visibility). I was hoping I would replace the factory horn with this Denali one in the same spot as the factory horn. and would use the same horn button. Hope, this would work. Why have 2 horns... I feel do I need the factory horn when I have the Denali? nope, hence, I would replace it and use the same wiring and space. Thanks for sharing.
That is only the Denali, it is a little bulkier than the own horn. I removed the factory one, and the original switch and wiring works fine.
I fully agree with your body is the best place to start, Sounds like you have made a good start. Good luck and enjoy your new ride. And remember, always ride safe!
Denali SoundBomb Mini or Compact. I am now debating on this. it is out of stock at all places and I cancel my order at TwistedThrottle which I placed last month... (they said they have it in stock and then that was wrong). backorder.
Love it.! it is the Denali SoundBomb Mini. well, now, I just got a Denali SoundBomb Compact.. Is this a good place to install it? below is the photo. BTW., I have a crash bar and hence it will protect the engine and the horn if mounted there is within the crash bar limit. so, fine. Any thoughts ? (or do your suggest, i just return it and get the Denali SoundBomb mini and just use the factory wiring. This is pretty simple to install too. We know the soundbomb compact is very loud and can be annoying at times. let me know your thoughts Bro.
The mini is plenty loud enough and using the factory wiring is a plus. You don’t even have to change the connectors on the wires.
