Hello to everyone on The Triumph Forum. It's good to finally get here. Having been biking since the early 60's off-road and the late 60's on-road you'd have thought that I'd already have had a Triumph in my "stable" at some point but no. Almost everything else affordable, from BSA, through many incarnations of the Japanese foursome and, last, a Beemer [no Italian exotica though]. Now I'm the proud new owner of a shiny black Speedmaster and very pleased with it I am too. I was lucky to have been looking to buy at the wrong end of the season [for the dealers], so I got an ex-demo [with only 200 miles on it] at a good price.

I'll apologise in advance for any dopey questions I may pose to you Triumph experts out there, as I'm sure there will be many. For now though, I'll content myself with browsing through the vast array of wisdom that seems to be residing in the forum content.

    Cheers, Steve

Thanks for the welcome. I'll get some pictures up soonest but I'm just having to take her indoors on holiday first. Gotta keep on the right side of she who must be obeyed.
