Had a quick read through and nowhere did i see you have pulled the plugs after trying to start and first see if they are very wet, which could indicate a stuck or leaking injector, and secondly with the plugs out and connected and earthed to the cylinders see if the actually fire when the engine is turned over, kind of basic first check.

Update - So this weekend I had some time to pull the bike apart. I was getting slightly worried about the smell of petrol coming from the bike and after pulling the tank I noticed a slight weep from the fuel pump assembly gasket.
So, I picked up a new gasket, drained the tank and found a lot of muck in the bottom. Gave the tank a good clean.
Whilst the tank was off, I fired a squirt of easy start down its throat and hit the starter and she duly responded and started - At least we have spark.
I then tested the fuel pump and it didn't sound right so I bit the bullet and got a new pump and fuel filter.
Installed new pump, filter and o-rings on the connectors. A can of fresh fuel, checked for leaks (none) hit the starter and away she went. Battery is charging nicely. Run her for about 6 miles and had no issues at all. So all in all a good weekends work.
I really would like to thank all of the members on here who have helped me out with this issue especially Adie who even offered to come over and have a look with me. Thanks so much and safe riding.

Yes, very definitely good news (except I REALLY did fancy a T595!) and really nice that this community provided the support and impetus to get you and the bike back on talking terms! :)

I've no doubt we'll meet up sometime in the not too distant future so, in the meantime, very well done on getting it sorted - enjoy the weather and the Daytona and ride safely!

    Regards,

    Adie
