Recommended by a few of my biking buddies and I havent heard a bad word said against them

I couldnt wait to get rid of the Bridgestone BT016's I had before these

Never tried them - I really rate the Dunlop Sportsmarts though - good in wet and long lasting, but great for nice warm days and track days too.

I went for the M5 too. Best balance of price, mileage and grip in both dry and wet. Waiting to see how far I get out of them. What have you got so far?

Had a set on my 2011 Speed Triple very good grip but only lasted 2500 miles, changed to the Z8's and they felt just as good and possibly even better in the wet and theses last a heck of a lot longer.

I'll have a look at the Z8. Metzeler a on a daytona were a winning combination this year at the TT so it must work. Maybe Gary Johnson had a little bit to do with the success. But only a bit.:D

You know what, cleaned my bike today and I've noticed slight flattening. I don't even to that many A roads. I'm mostly cutting around on B roads. Slightly disappointed. They've only been on 2 months.

I had a set of M5s fitted to my Speed Triple this morning, they will be broken in this week and we will see how long they last.
The selling point is it is supposed to be good for mileage and handling including wet weather. I certainly hope for more than 2500 miles before they square off!
