Hi all, thanks for accepting me to the forum I'm relatively new to the biking world having only past my test Dec 2016 but I've embraced it whole heartedly My first bike was an MT07 which I picked up new straight after my test, unfortunately being winter I didn't get much time to ride it until spring, what a cracking first bike tho plenty of power and torque all low down and sounded amazing with the akra exhaust fitted I had 5000 fantastic miles in which my confidence grew and grew along with my hunger for something a little more planted and faster through the bends This was just around the time the new 765RS came out, I took one for a test ride and wow what a machine it blew me away. The difference from the MT was leagues apart, fantastic brakes, super slick gear box with a sweet quickshifter, great suspension and the ability carve your way through B roads was both scary and exhilarating all combining to reach the magical smiles per miles factor Obviously I brought one straight away and waved goodbye to the trusty MT Now the 765 RS is a bike that likes to be ridden and I reached the first service over the first weekend I picked her up with a cracking trip around the Peak District, this was also my first multiple day trip and with the right tool for the job I definitely got the travel bug Since then I've ridden all round wales, midlands, south coast and an epic trip around Scotland taking in the NC500 followed by the crown jewel of trips to the Isle of Man TT (riding flat out up the mountain section is definitely one off the bucket list ) Having covered some 11000 truly epic miles and with 2 more trips to the lake district and Spain on the horizon I've decided it's new bike time again, so I had a nice little ride on the new speed RS yesterday (if the street is a scalpel the speed is a absolute hammer, power wheelies in 4th anyone?yes please) and will be swapping my little street for the bigger brother next Saturday I'll be truly sad to see my little street go and if I had the money I'd love to keep her, I've got a feeling she won't be the last one I'll ever have Anyway sorry for rambling on Hope to see many of you on the open road Steve

Hi Steve, great intro & summary of your riding to date, sounds like although you haven’t been riding that long you’ve done a few miles & had some good adventures. Good luck with the new bike & enjoy Spain, I went in June it was epic!
Hi Steve and welcome! Great intro and nice to hear how you gradually stepped up and are enjoying the pleasure only a motorcycle can provide! Be safe out there
