Having had to have a play with my exhaust setup recently for the trackday I went on at Brands Hatch, I also put a little vid together showing how the Yoshi compares to the standard silencer.

Which cans have you folk fitted?

I've got the Yoshi Alpha-T with the baffle. Have to say, I like it, although I was considering taking the baffle out just to see what difference it makes. When I was installing it I didn't think it made that much of a difference, but that was at a standstill giving it a few revs in the garage.

on the motorway it can get a little draining sitting at 70mph for long periods of time with it out. I'd say leave it in tbh, I only have mine out as it can be picked up better by my in helmet mic when making on bike videos! :)

    Hi hippo,
ive had the SC project SC1R from new ( currently 1900 kms; bike's 2 months old, "rs version") bits are nice. ( i feel its better quality than arrow, just my opinion based on previous end cans ) dont shoot me please ......
    sound was better than stock.

must admit the yosh has a deaper tone to it, actually prefer the sound by a couple ball hairs to mine ;) .
But prefer the looks of the SC1R . whatever rocks your boat .

Anyways, thanks a mil for the vid, just confirmed my thoughts ....

Yosh always has a way of sounding sublime ......... :(

    bonne route !!
    ride safe
    Rob.

Cheers Rob, the SC does look good, I've not heard one in the flesh though. I do think the Arrow looks nice, but it is still going to be quite heavy as it still has a cat I think.

On my 2005 speed triple I've got TORS fitted. Wonderful deep growl in low revs, and a bone-chilling scream coming in as of 5k revs.
