    Hello all

    Just like to say Hi!

Always fancied riding a bike but never go around to it (mid life and all that) but done DA and passed the end of Feb this year! So went and bought a 57plate Street Triple in black! Anyhow I know it's my first but I love it so much I don't think I could sell it but just add to her with another Triumph.
Just loving it in this weather!

    Cheers

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum. Street Triple is a fantastic bike, unintimidating when ridden as low revs but fantastic fun when ridden hard.

    Hi Martin,
Welcome to the forum - I'm the same as you passed in May and bought an 04 Bonnie 2 days later - first bike (not counting the CBF!) and love it. Won't sell, but will get another to keep it company in the garage!

    Nice one Steve!
The other fella doing DA with me had bought a very tasty T100 new and all in black which looks the business!
I quite fancy getting a scambler at some point!!

  10. Welcome Martin, i've been in the saddle for 40 years now, and still love it
Enjoy your new bike mate, but don't get carried away with it, ride at your own pace, not everybody else's....
I'm not trying to teach you how to suck eggs, just hopin you enjoy as long in the saddle as you can :upyeah:
    Enjoy !!

    Thanks mate!

I know what yer saying. I'm still very much building confidence and taking it easy at the mo. You have to be confident at the end of the day and the Street I think was the perfect bike! Something I will grow into for sure and hopefully ride for many years to come.
I love my Triumph!! Some pics to follow soon!

I think you have picked the right bike there Martin, the 675 engine is such a good engine as your experience grows you will not have to worry about needing another bike as it is more than quick enough for most of us that have been riding for a 'few' years.

    Cheers

    Steve

Totally agree Steve! More than enough power to keep the most hardened rider happy!

Oh and I've just posted a pic of my bike in the Street gallery!!

Sound advice riding at your own pace.
I sometimes have a ride out with my son and his mates and usually come home with sky high blood pressure .:eek::frown:
Enjoy your bike, the freedom and biking brotherhood Martin :upyeah:

Thank you fella. I think I've got higher blood pressure just riding the bike alone!! That's one thing I don't really fancy at the mo, going on ride out and trying to keep up with them! It would only end in tears!!! Just going at my pace so I'm a happy bunny!!
