Heard Some Really Good News Today

    Those of you who have met me might have heard me say that my wife is a Jehova's Winness. Well one of the people she visits is a little old lady. This little old lady got a knock on the door one day after Christmas by some blokes offering to fix her broken garden fence and replace the broken flags at the front of her council house. You know what's coming. The work was started, never finished and left in a right mess. She was ripped off to the tune of £12,000 ! She's in her 70's and very vulnerable. One day while my wife was visiting, these cnuts rang up and were demanding another £850. My wife advised little old lady to put the phone down and contact the police. She eventually did contact the police and the local council.
    Her bank has just compensated her to the tune of £18,000 as they accept they should have noticed the unusual withdrawals and the council are going to fix up her garden and fencing.
    What a nice outcome for a change.

    What a great, great result Andy please give my congratulations to your wife.

    Several years ago my Mum was ripped off by a similar quality of heartless gits. Had her for about £5000.

    They are just filth :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Nice out come, these scum should be caught and stripped of all assets then put to had labour... .good on your missus Andy a nice touch of human kindness :)

    Wow. That's a pretty amazing result. Especially for the bank to stump up an extra £6k - the equivalent to extracting blood from a stone.
