I fitted a healtech quickshifter and can't get it to work, I set it up and the system works but the bike won't change gear, I have cleaned the clutch safety switch and all the connections are tight.
    Really annoying

Thank you, I ride a 07 speed triple, I'm not very good at this computer stuff I just muddle my way through.
I live in N. Ireland where you can find some of the best roads in the UK.
I fitted a healtech quickshifter to my speed and can't get the bike to change gear but the system is working

Hi & Welcome. Never mind not too good on computers - I've never even heard of a healtech quickshifter...

    Welcome buddy :)

I had a healtech QS on my GSXR1000K6. I left the settings as default on my android. The healtech QS doesn't have a link rod instead they use a washer sensor which is bolted to your oem gear actuator. That's how I installed it on my previous bike n it worked fine. The only issue is getting the sensitivity correct otherwise you will have unwanted engine cut off at the wrong time :(

    Check the following :

The sensor (black round) bit is mounted correctly with the conical washers the correct way and torqued to the required spec .

The connection to the ignition coils are in the correct order

The sensitivity on your Android is set correctly

Leave the rest of the setting as default. You can fine tune them once you get it working

The healtech QS will respond well from 2nd n upwards above 4k revs

Most importantly ensure you have the latest Healtech software on your Android

    Others things to check. ...

When the engine is idling, can you see the revs matches on your Android healtech app

Are you able to cut the engine off using your Android healtech app

Or it could be something silly such as the sensor wire runs next to the sprocket cover n let's hope the wire is not chewed up by the sprocket.

Hope it works for you. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll help you as much as I could .

    All the best buddy
