Hi..another new member to the site. After years of riding sportsbikes and even more years of riding dirt bikes , I decided to calm it all down a bit and try the air cooled scrambler after seeing and loving the old styling / modern reliability combination the scrambler offers. Yes I have taken it off road , but in a very gentlemanly cautious way on my local lanes , which leads on to my search for some decent off road foot pegs . As soon as they get wet and muddy the rubber pegs are deadly . So...does anyone know what off road (metal spikey wide) foot pegs will fit onto an aircooled efi triumph scrambler 2016 ?..so I can stand up in safety . I’ve looked online and saw the Biltwell pegs but the spikes don’t look up to the job . The Pivot Pegz look perfect for the job , but I can’t find a UK supplier that stocks ones for the Scrambler. Today I popped in to Woburn Triumph who were very helpful even tried to fit genuine triumph street scrambler accessory off road pegs but no luck . The genuine accessory pegs for my aircooled scrambler have been discontinued already ! If you’ve found a peg that fits or know a UK supplier of the Pivot Pegz for a scrambler please let me know before I do myself a proper injury : ) Thanks Paul
Welcome to the Asylum you should fit right in. Too keep the inmates happy we will need photos. Tucker
Hi and welcome to the forum! You are in the right place for this kind of help. I'm in the states, but out bros here can surely assist you with this. And don't forget to ride safe!
Hi everyone thanks for the warm welcome ... here's my scrambler after a good clean up Thanks for the tip Half ton ..I'll give them a look
Ok..Thanks for your advise and recommendations chaps ...I managed to chance upon some lovely pegs that fitted straight on in 5 mins , got them used on ebay as new stuff seems very expensive. They're made by Talon from the UK (they make off road stuff ..lovely spoked wheels etc) Luckily the anodised blue even matches the tank ! (just about)
Welcome Rowley. It was me you first spoke to at Woburn. Pleased to see you got sorted. I'll check that firm out for my Street Twin. If you'd like to show off your new pegs then why not pop along to our annual picnic, blather-fest and JD/Bushmills tasting event in July. https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/grand-meet-up-2018-wales.12452/
