Small Plates... Just How Small Can You Get Away With?

They’ll have a bloody field day with my bike
Gonna have a look at the map a bit closer to the day and get as close as I can in England before crossing into Welsh Wales

Devon and Cornwall polizei have issues with "off-piste" number plates too. I'd not gone 300 yards over the border before plod pulled me over. They said the Chief Constable had tasked them to crack down on number plates! Clearly not much serious crime down there either. Or, if there is, the Chief Constable needs refocussing.
