ed955, I just have a fresh (rear)tyre on my '03 Daytona 955i, the Bridgestone Battlax BT-021 and I'm very satisfied since day 1!! Very smooth in the curves and (after a warm-up) they should hold really well in the rain too. The choice between the Michelin Pilot Road 2 or 3 and the Bridgestone was a bit difficult Finally, the price difference did it  The tyre dealer told me that both brands would do OK for my use (all year round sport-touring), the Michelins should warm up a bit faster. Take care:upyeah:
...By the way, after I came home with my new tyre, I was reading through my manual and discovered the Bridgestones are recommended by Triumph!
Bridgestone BT023's are very good (used them on my 09 Fireblade and no dramas) Also Metzeler Z8's which I had on my 2011 Speed Triple, could not fault them. Never really have got on with Dunlops or Michelin's.
HATED the 021s on the front of my 2000 955i (before I shortened it in the side of a car!!) they did this Google Image Result for http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b517/tradesman44/photo_zps784b8625.jpg felt horrible
021's are ok, Currently have them on my 1000 daytona, but will be switching them for 023's when the time comes
Holy S**t, what 's that!? Is it something like a sharp edge, staying in the middle of that 021 ?? I hope my 023 won't do that!!:frown:
I hated the 021's on mine, front constantly felt like it wanted to wash away and looked very egg shaped after they were taken off, Quite a common thing apparently.
