Hi all, Ive bought this morning a 1994 900 triumph trophy and all was going well on the ride home until after about 5 miles the bike stopped dead, after a short while i managed to get it started this happened a further 9 times after cooling down. i was almost home when it happened again but will not start at all now and the aa were called to take me home. He checked one of the coils with a monitor and thinks that no spark is getting to plugs. Could this be the crank position sensor trigger coil. your help would be gratefully received :frown:.

A friend of mine is having the same sort of issue with his 750 Daytona and has decided to replace the old carbon spark plug leads with copper ones as the carbon ones degrade over time.

I will update the outcome and if has fixed the issue once he has completed the modifaction.
