TBH I didn't want to go down but my pal said it's easy just a bit of gravel. Did have my go pro running Went VERY slowly and it got to the point I could not turn around so had to go for it. If I was on my WR 250 it would have been dead easy, don't think I will be doing more green lanes on the Triumph any time soon

When I picked up my 1992 Trophy the other week I knew it had a few issues but it had been MOT'D that day so as long as road worthy it was fingers crossed and wallett open.
As you all know 22 yrs and 5 owners can wreak havoc on wiring etc and I have just come across my 1st endeavour. The neutral light doesn't work. Okay then lets have a look at the wiring, located neutral switch on crankcase to pull off the connector... no wire at all? so next job will be tracing back to where it should be. will update.

Invest in a Haynes manual it will pay for it's self in the long run

Finally managed to get the exhaust on the Trident yesterday, It's a great deal easier when you have the right link pipe.

Also I have been banned from buying more parts by the wife for two months  She has found out how much the powdercoating for the wheels cost and she isn't happy. Oh well the couch is pretty comfortable I suppose

Almost got the Trident finished, just the clutch to bleed, sort the gear shift out and check chain and bolts and she will be back on the road

Going to have a couple of months to enjoy riding my bikes then I will make start back on the CB 750 and also get the wheels on the Daytona powder coated.

Oh well gets me out of the house and away from the kids

Got everthing back on the bike bleed the clutch and went mad with the torque wrench then backed the bike out of the shed for a short check up the driveway only to hear a scrapping noise ...... Oh bugger sounded a bit worrying then looked down and the center stand was rubbing on the chain as there a no stoppers on the new exhaust.

So time to ditch the center stand tomorrow after work and then Thunderbirds are GO!! (Weather permiting)

Fitted an Evotech tail tidy yesterday afternoon, which has really improved the back end of the bike.

I'll post some pics once I have given it a good clean.

Was in the garage until 22:00 last night finishing the bike off tried to take the centre stand off but it has a torque bolt and it is smaller than the ones you use for the brake calipers and the frame  bloody typical will have to take a trip to halford today to get the right size and take the bloody thing off followed by a trip to Alton Train Station for the Wednesday meet or take the Daytona if it all goes Pete Tong

Took the center stand off of the Trident yesterday after work and took it for a quick shakedown run. the bike feels really light after being used to the Daytona. Still got a few things to sort out as the front tyre has been put on the wrong way round and the chain needs tightening up a bit but apart from that its all good

Also have just found a Mint Super III for sale and have wanted one of these ever since they first came out ..... let me see .... This may cause some issues with the wife (understatement) and would I be able to fit it into my garage (simple answer get rid of all the push bikes and stupid gardening rubbish and it would)

Just in case has anyone got some spare garage space and a spare bed

Took to Daytona to Destination Triumph this morning and test rode the Thunderbird Storm which was really good apart from the footpegs being really uncomfortable,(well they are too far foward for me.
Put a full set of brake pads on the Trident and spent a bit of time this afternoon bedding them in. Just need to replace the speedo cable and it's all good.
Managed to get some photos of both bikes together before putting them back in the garage.

Took the bike in for suspension set up and ended up having a full dyno run and re map as well.
Did have a lag at 4000rpm(SP engineering low can on)that's all gone now.
    Rides better and pulls better.

I rode the Thunderbird storm as well today, really comfy seat & foot controls, great suspension & handling & powerful engine are the plus points, stupidly wide tank, tiny bars and a steering head angle that acts as a spoiler to try & blow your helmet off meaning you cannot use that power :( the negatives

Fitted the harness for electric gloves, I went for a ride with a mate yesterday of 150 miles to the east coast and back and it was cold.
He was so smug with his gebrings on all the way there and back.

I have some in the bike wardrobe so they are now on and i'm going for a ride this morning at 7AM.
